Has anyone been to this little Mexican (NOT Tex-Mex) restaurant in Somerville? I think it opened about a year ago and I've head great things about it. .

I had probably the best chicken quesadilla of my life there, and would definitely go back for that. The rest of the food was decent too--it aims to be a more authentic Mexican restaurant than others in the Boston area. But to be honest, I can't remember what I ordered, so it must not have been that great. Or that bad.

Do you at least know the name or the location in Somerville?

I "at least" do - 858 Broadway near Tufts. As I said, I haven't been there yet but it was easy to find the address. They also have a site:

My husband and I live in the Tufts U. neighborhood and we love Tu Y Yo! At one point, we had to have our "Tu Y Yo fix" at least once every week or every two weeks! Try their tacos and gringas from their list of appetizers.

If you are not afraid of "jump up and down" hot/spicy dishes, try the shrimp "macambo." The pork entrees are also delicious.

Last, but certainly NOT least, the FLAN is "to die for"! I typically do not eat desserts, but I always try to leave a little space for this delicious treat -- goes well with their cinnamon coffee as well!
