Coming to Chicago for the first time and am interested in finding out where is the best deli in downtown.

Also, is there a special place for chili and dogs.

And third, is there a place that has the reputation for being the best Greek food in the city.

Any reponse to any of these thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I believe wiener's circle and vienna hot dog are the
places, DOnt know a specific Greek Place but the greek town area is interesting, try Ann Sathers for breakfast and Bacinos for stuffed pizza.

    1. As far as hot dogs go, you can check out
      www.wqed.org/tv/natl/hotdogs/hd_place...
which lists a bunch of places around the country. Superdawg is the place I tried I think. A drive-in a little on the outskirts of town. It was fun (but too cold for the drive-in in Nov.) and everyone working had a major Chicago accent.

      1. Ed, if you'll glance back at the Chicago board you'll see some answers and a ? for you.
