  1. I went to Emma's yesterday for the first time since it left huron ave. I was very disappointed.

I won't repeat what others have already said, except to say that I'm in the unimpressed camp.

For more detail look at the posts about Emma's from a few days ago.

As for the b-side, I really like the cheese (gruyere?) they melt in the cast iron pan. I just wish it came with more toasted french bread. This is the closest I'm come to finding fondue/raclette (in a restaurant) in boston. Is this dish still on the menu? Actually, it may have been a special. Regardless, if they have it, try it!

not sure if it's what your looking for, but Temple Bar on Mass Ave in between harvard sq and porter sq in cambridge has fondue. i haven't had the cheese, but i've the chocolate. delicious :)

i'm sure someone else has tried the cheese fondue. anyone?

Thanks Doug. I'd forgotten they serve fondue.

The Swissotel's restaurant does a wonderful raclette. Obviously it's more expensive than places in Europe but it's done very well.

            Thanks for the tip Joel.

    2. As for the posts about Emma's, look at Fusilli's post "Pizza in Boston Area - review" and the responses. You'll see that Emma's does have it followers - I'm just not one of them.
