Need a restaurant near Logan Airport, not far off I-95 north

KT Feb 19, 2001 07:05 PM

Picking up the family at Logan at 6PM And heading north to Maine. I need a recommendation for dinner for 7 adult diners. Good, not fancy. I don't know my way around Boston, so navigation is a concern.
Any recommendations for near the airport or Somerville or the north end?? Thanks.

My vote: Mr. Crepe, off of Davis Square. :)
I think I speak for all regulars there when I say it's the best, and it's fun to watch Rheda work!

How can this possibly be close to Logan or I-95?

I can't imagine why you would want to go back into town from the airport if you're heading to Maine. Avoid the toll and the huge wait at the tunnels and take 1A north. This will lead you to Route 1 and you will pass many restaurants of all shapes and sizes. Many of these are safe family-style chain restaurants and old-time staples like Hilltop and Kowloon. Further up Rte 1 before you get to the 95N interchange is Naked Fish. Relatively inexpensive but decent seafood in a casual but modern atmosphere.
