Private Dining Room in Boston

Hi everyone, I need help finding a private or semi-private dining room in Boston for 18 people on a Saturday night. A good Italian/Mediterranean place, Seafood/Steakhouse as a last resort. Waterfront, North End, Downtown location best. It's for a special birthday dinner, and we didn't want the typical large table stuck in the middle of a dining room. I'm not having any luck at all.

Grill 23 is a maybe, but we wanted something a little less pricey. The Chart House can accomodate us semi-privately, in the corner of the dining room, but it just seems too touristy for me. Any thoughts? Thanks.

My folks had their 50th anniversary party in a private dining room at the Four Season Hotel. It was a lovely room with a view of the park. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent.

I agree that the Four Seasons is an exquisite place for any celebration, but it is very expensive. I recommend the 57 Restaraunt for something less expensive. They have several private rooms just off the dining room suitable for a party of your size. The menu is pretty basic, but the quality of the food and service is consistently good.
