Birthday for a crowd

We're looking for a restaurant in the greater Boston area to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday in March. She LOVES a party!, so we're considering having family and friends, possibly 50-60 people. Too many to fit at home and too many to cook for.

Can anyone recommend a restaurant that can accommodate a crowd, has delicious fresh food at a reasonable price ($25/person?), is attractive and fun, and maybe even has music? Perhaps something Middle Eastern (no Indian, please. Not my mother's favorite cuisine, alas.)

We're looking for someplace kind of funky that has a warm ambiance so that the party will feel more like a home party - personal, relaxed - and not like a formal dinner in a fancy restaurant. Perhaps something in the Waltham area? Many thanks!

Sidney's at The University Park Hotel @ M.I.T. in Cambridge.
Funky, good food and plenty of space! Check it out.
