Anyone know of any other good Vietnamese joints downtown?

The Dong Khanh at 81 Harrison Ave in Chinatown. This place has been around for several years now and Vietnamese friends in Dorchester tell me that it is their favorite in Chinatown. They have an extensive menu - plus a variety of specials that you can ask to have translated. We were there about two weeks back - had the beef brisket in tomato base noodle soup and the duck blood and chicken soup. They do a frogs' legs hot pot - and have an extensive offering of fruit drinks. I noticed a Bankok noodle dish on the wall specials after we had ordered. If you try it, let us know how it is.
There are a LOT of small pho places in Chinatown. ---- many more than are actually listed in the Yellow Pages. A small one across from the Panang on Washington St. has a good rep -but we haven't gone in there yet. My son's school friends' family runs a good Vietnamese place further up Harrison Ave, called the Bo Dat --- #28 ---good soup as well. Another place we have heard good about recently replaced the Buddha's Delight Vegetarian Chinese restaurant ( which moved upstairs) Its at about #5 Beech.
We alternate getting to Chinatown by going to the Chinatown Orange Line stop or taking the Red Line to South Station and walking over through the Big Dig.
Please post to the list with reports of any of these places.
