  1. As I posted several days ago, we had a wonderful dinner at Bistro Savannah. They honored our reservation, the service was excellent, the place is very nice, and best of all the food and wine were delicious. It came highly recommended to us and I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a fine meal. Enjoy!

I ate at Savannah Bistro on my honeymoon 3 years ago, and the red snapper I had is still, to this day, one of the best meals I have ever eaten! Don't miss this spot!

    2. Gottlieb's is the finest dining in town, bar none. Savannah Bistro is second, a little less fine, but the food is still good. Don't be suckered in by any of the other overpriced restaurants -- they're largely supported by tourists.

      1. Gottlieb's and Bistro Savannah are actually owned and operated by the same people. They even share staff. Gottlieb's is slightly fancier version of the two.

Wrong here. I believe you are confusing Gottliebs with Garibaldi's - 2 different restaurants. Bistro Savannah and Garibaldis are owned by the same family and share the same staff, not Gottliebs!!

        2. Gottlieb's is closed. I had the meal of my life at Elizabeth's on 37th on Wednesday; I'm going to do a write-up on places I ate when I have a chance. Bistro Savannah was very good but didn't blow me away like Elizabeth's.

          1. Hey y'all. If you haven't made your reservations yet, consider Sapphire Grille or 700 Drayton (at the Mansion Hotel) Love the Bistro and really like Elizabeth's on 37th. For elegant setting, 700 Drayton wins. (Savannah local)
