She will have to ask where it is to find it. A real experience, but the best steaks I have had in a restaurant - any place - any time. Don't let the location or looks of the establishment fool you - (Actually that is what makes it such an experience). We used to travel to Greenville for work, and if any of our major clients were with us they ALWAYS wanted to go to Doe's for a steak. Oxford is a little out of the way but worth it for L&M Salumeria and City Grocery. Craig's BBQ in Devall's Bluff and the Pie shop are an hour from LR between LR and Memphis. If you get close to Cleveland try KC's and Crawdad's in Merigold. Tater's right about Doe's in Greenville.......a sure don't miss place. It's on Nelson St. going west off Broadway in the low rent district........ Go To SFA Oral History and Click on Greenwood for Lusco's et al............ If it's Clarksdale try Madidi's and Ground Zero owned by Morgan Freeman. I prefer Greenwood myself.
