First choice is Capitol Grill in Hermitage Hotel downtown. Great room, wonderful chef (Sean Brock) who will do a special menu if contacted in advance and a pretty good wine list. After that it is a toss-up to me between Zola, F. Scott's and Germantown Cafe. They are in the following areas West End, Green Hills and downtown respectively.

Definitely Mario's....it's da bomb....incredible wine list, the service is outstanding, and, of course, the food is ...my mouth starts watering just thinking about it. Ambiance is perfect for an anniversary dinner...romantic and quaint.
