KONSTA'S in Richmond, VA --- what happened?

I was visiting Richmond this weekend and was horrified to find that Konsta's was no longer in the fan disctrict. Does anyone know if the owners opened a new restaurant anywhere? The food was always excellent, the service was always friendly (far friendlier than at 1 North Belmont) and the mediterranean-tinged cuisine was always welcoming. IF anyone has any info or alternate recommendations, I'd really appreciate it!

Yes Konsta's sold...the new owners ran it as Konsta's for awhile but it was plain awful. Last I read in Style they were changing the name & concept but don't know to what.

I remember a rumor about Konsta's but can't remember what it was exactly. I think it was that it had been sold and plan to reopen but I may be completely wrong. Sorry you don't find the service at 1 N. Belmont friendly. I think it's the friendliest place on earth. It's my single most favorite restaurant in Richmond right now, hands down.
