Chatterbox in MS still good?

I am coming home to Memphis for a visit and have a hankering to go to the Chatterbox in Desoto County for catfish. I went there about 10 years ago and loved it--but 10 years is a long time. Is it still good, or is there somewhere else within reasonable driving distance of Memphis that is better?

My DH proposed there Sept 2. 2006 the food was wonderful as always. That time their was even a lady there playing keyboard.

I've heard of Chatterbox ... went once, though it's possibly been ten years for me as well. No idea if it's still around.

I often hear about Olive Branch Catfish Company, which gets middling reviews but is very crowded. Also about a catfish place in Redbanks, MS, a little further down 78. Can't really opine on either, as I've never been to Red Banks and it's been years since I've been to OBCC.

That is the place. I couldn't remember the name of the town where it was. Does anyone know if it is still good? I have been to the place in Red Banks and wasn't super impressed. I have not been to the Catfish Cabin in Olive Branch. Since my time in Memphis is limited and I'm seriously craving catfish, I want to make sure I go to the right place!

Catfish Crossings in Red Banks is my favorite place to get catfish when I am in the area. They have awesome hushpuppies and homemade cakes.

Never heard of Chatterbox in DeSoto County.

Maybe you're thinking of Catfish Cabin in Olive Branch. If so, it's still going strong and recently expanded in size.
