Leo's Deli Hot Mustard Charlotte

I was eating in Leo's last week and ordered my sandwich and asked for the hot mustard. A lady at the next table watched me apply it, bite the sandwich, and then wipe my eyes.

"That looks like that is HOT mustard" she said.

"Try some" I replied.

Before long about half the place was trying it. Just a word to the wise...go easy at first but this stuff is just great. Got to ask for it and it's not on the menu.

    1. Interesting observation about the mustard in Charlotte. I'm originally from CT where noone over the age of about 5 ate "yellow mustard". Guilden's reigned as king and some of the delis used an even more piquant "german style" mustard.

Lot's and lots of yellow mustard in Charlotte but maybe if we try "real" mustard in places like Leo's we will start to enjoy it more and more
