When I couldn't find any recommendations for a casual dinner spot in Franklin, TN to take my teenaged niece and nephew, we tried Puckett's. The cherry smoked chicken wings and pulled pork sandwiches were to die for. Puckett's cherry smoking was sweet, smooth and is still making our mouths water one week later. The hamburgers, which they recommend, were nothing special. The sweet potato fries were as good as Pearl's in good 'ol Mill Valley, CA. We all plan to get to Puckett's during our annual Christmas week visit.

If you want to try Puckett's I would also recomment trying the original location in Leipers Fork, not far from Franklin. It's a real market that serves breakfast/lunch/dinner in the front and also has live music on the weekends. I think the Franklin location has a few more "high-end" menu items but the Leipers location is a little more authentic. http://www.puckettsgrocery.com/index.htm
