OK, here's the situation -- an old friend who is both a golf nut and a saucier at a Michelin two-star restaurant in the Loire Valley is taking his vacation in Myrtle to play some golf. First time he's been in America. You understand, we can't exactly take him to Applebee's. I need to know, what's the A-list in Myrtle Beach? I imagine he'll want to dine well and damn the cost at least some of the time, but I think if there's some tar-paper shack that serves genuine good food, he'd be up for that too. Help! Any and all suggestions appreciated.

North of MB try either the Parson's Table or Brentwood's. South of MB around Pawley Island try FRANKS. Resturant Row area: Thorougbreds, Chestnut Hill, or Rossi's.
Keep'em in the fairways!!

Louis Osteen has relocated to the Pawley's Island area from Charleston and his restaurant (which I believe bears his name) would be worthy of further consideration based on his reputation.
