barbecue on I75

Greetings,
I will be driving I75 from Detroit to
Tampa in late February or early March. Can anyone suggest a place where I can get good barbecue?

We really like Ken's in north Florida. He has a few locations and I know one is at the Lake City exit. Not sure where it is in relation to the exit, though.

not really....(hey, i'm biased, i'd go to texas for LUNCH)..but you might try BARNES BBQ off exit 138 in tunnell hill ga, just north of dalton...it's authentic, but i am uncertain of the days open, hours etc...give em a call...the brisket is not bad, but....it's not texas...

Check out the Fresh Air BBQ in Jackson GA on U.S 23 about 30 miles south of Atlanta. It's been there since 1929, and looks it! They know what they're doing.
