        <content>We unfortunately missed the Acme Oyster House during our trip to NOLA last summer.  I didn't know there was one in Sandestin until just this moment - anyone have the real scoop on it?  Is the food fresh and good or is it just another chain?

      <content>I'm from New Orleans but have not been to the Acme in Sandestin.
There are 3 Acmes here and are all of the same original family of the original in the French Quarter (still closed since Katrina).
I would guess it's as close to our NOLA Acmes as possible but the place to post your question would be Our Foodfest Board:
