Every year we go to Clearwater Beach for a week and it's been 1 1/2 years since we've been there. Heading there next week and know there's been a lot of changes. We always stayed at the Adam's Mark, which I saw being demolished on a video clip the other day. Our normal places are Frenchy's (all of them!) Britt's, Palm Pavillion and Bobby's Bistro for a special nite out. Not too impressed with Shepard's - we're not into buffets. Any other suggestions?? Also, we don't have a car, so we usually walk everywhere or use the Jolley Trolley!

I like Cooter's, their grouper sandwiches are as good as those available at Frenchy's, and they give you the option of some excellent black beans and rice as a side.

I'd really like to try Lenny's for breakfast. It's a kosher spot on Hwy. 19.

For a special nite (think pricey) I'd recommend Island Way Grill -- where else but on Island Way.

Welcome back.

I dearly love Lenny's and absolutely recommend you try it, Tandoori Girl. Open just for breakfast and lunch, I think they close around three, and you can encounter lines Saturday and Sunday mornings. It is not, however, kosher, bacon and ham certainly are available. I'd describe it as a Jewish style deli, with other options. LOVE the little basket of pastry available with breakfast.
