Caterer for Tampa Wedding?

kateinboston Oct 5, 2005 12:13 PM

Hey foodies,
What caterers would you recommend for a Tampa wedding? I've heard of Michael's on East; their online menu looks amazing. Raw bar options--yum. We're looking for a fancy sit-down dinner for approx 175 guests in Tampa, so any regional caterer (ie, willing to come in from Sarasota) would be great. Something more than a cheese & crudite platter. Whose food have you eaten? What was it and how was it? Thanks!

What about Mise En Place in Tampa. I know that they cater meals.

personally, i would go with chef Gui. (last name escapes me). A fine french chef who specializes in fancy dinners big and small. food is excellent French style, i've had amazing appetizers and entrees at an event he catered. website below.

Wow, way to dig up a thread from 2005 and plug your website. Should I go ahead and put in a link for my catering company, in the hopes that almost 4 years later the OP has not found a suitable caterer for her wedding? ;-)
