In a seemingly never-ending quest for information about the Green Goddess dressing at Park Plaza Gardens, I was told today in no uncertain terms by the chef that this product is not available at the restaurant.
I also have the recipe, acquired by someone in 1978, if anyone cares for me to post it.

I think your teeth would turn green with all that parsley . . .

Thanks-- but I would surely have to trim down the recipe- a gallon would feed an army. This would be a gread dressing to serve at a 70's type party- could also serve some jello molds- as a matter of fact, I think was a thread about this not too long ago.

Chef says it is relatively easy to cut in half or even to 25 percent. His original, hand-written copy, in fact, makes two gallons.

I suspect the source of the recipe to me got it from the "Thought You'd Never Ask" column produced by the late Dorothy Chapman at the Orlando Sentinel.

Unfortunately, the person who sent it to me blocked my ability to respond back with questions. (P.S., if you read this, give me another email address(such as a quickie Hotmail account) so I can ask a couple of questions for a column I am working on, please?

I could have sworn I sent you my email in the recipe.

Yes, I got the recipe out of the Orlando Sentinel. It's a piece of frayed yellow newspaper now, under plastic!

This might sound heretical. . .but have you tried Seven Seas' version? The only place I could find it, shockingly enough, was Wal-Mart. Tastes just as good as several versions I've had in restaurants, though I've never been to the specific one you mention. Just a thought (for those, like me, too lazy to make your own).

Oh, I didn't say I would eat the stuff.

I seldom eat salads outside the line of duty and definitely wouldn't put Green Goddess on them if I did.

This is purely in the name of research in regard to an earlier post/thread I was involved with.
