YES!!!!! Go a little farther south to Marathon, and sit at a table at Herbie's.. You will have the most unforgetable quick meal of seafood and fries. They're closed on Sunday's though. I believe they're closed one week in August or Sept too.
Another one is Craig's. They have a sign on top of the building that says "World's best fish sandwich." And they're NOT kidding! It was the best fish sandwich I have ever had.
Can't remember where Snapper's is.. which Key, but they had some awesome pan steamed clams that were unforgetable.

Not sure if I should add this to a three yr old thread.
We stopped at Craig's for a Fish sandwich to go. It's a nice enough place inside. I ordered the fish sandwich to go and a conch chowder.
The conch chowder was pretty lame and mostly just big hunks of canned tomatoes with barely any ground up conch and no discernible conch flavor.
The sandwich was excellent. I opted for the fresh grouper($5 surcharge or you can get catfish or dolphin, they also had snapper as an option). The fish was perfectly griddled or seared on wheat toast with tartar sauce, melted american cheese and tomato. We had that sandwich almost finished before I pulled out of the parking lot.
It was a geat quick stop but pretty pricey at $15 just for the sandwich.
The food at both of these places is really good.
Lazy Days Oceanfront Bar
79867 Overseas Hwy - on the Ocean side, on the second floor, on the water, beautiful view!! They will cook your fresh catch.
Old Tavernier Italian Restaurant
90311 Old Hwy (runs next to US1)- on the Ocean side, on the second floor, not on the water.
The store next to Islamorada Fish Company is called the Worlwide Sportsman Complex, great shoppin & there is a bar upstairs called Zane Gray's lounge. Good place to relax & take in the atmosphere. Morada Bay is another fine place for a good dinner but make sure you make reservations.
