  1. We had a wonderful dinner, a few months ago, at Creolina, on SW 2nd Street, not too far from the Performing Arts Center. There were 4 of us, and I don't remember exactly what we ate, but I DO remember the crabcakes that were among the best I'd ever had.
The only problem for us was that on Saturday nights the street gets filled with motorcycles parked neck to neck and their drivers drinking & partying all over the street.
We did try a return, on a Sunday night, but it was off season, and they weren't open for dinner. But now, they might be!!

    1. We like the Himarshee Grill for dinner before a show. They understand your time limitations and make sure you get out in time. Also, the food is very good.

      1. max's grille in river walk? if it is still there. we have not been there in a while. otherwise, las olas has many fine restaurants and is only a hop skip & a jump from the PAC

Thanks for all your suggestions. The Las Olas Art Fair is this weekend....ending Sunday at 5 p.m.
Which restaurant will get us pretty close to PAC for a 7:30 performance, without getting us into the Art Fair traffic??
We will be coming from South Miami.

The ones at the on Himmarshee St. (Himmarshee Bar + Grill, Creolina's, etc.) are all a one or two block walk to the Performing Arts Center and are a half mile away from the macrame-and-sand-dollar-clogged Art Fair. You'll have no problem parking. Ditto the adjacent Las Olas Riverfront complex with its junkier food options.

Just go to the Performing Arts Center, park, and you can walk to the restaurants in that area with no problem. Going someplace on the main Las Olas strip where the Art Fair is might be another story.

Thank you for your advice. We will keep our 5:30 reservation at the Himmarshee Grill.
