I went to the one on Dale Mabry, ordered a steak, lobster and mixed cocktail. All met my expectations (the lobster tail was particularly good), and the ambience was more upscale than I expected (considering their lawn is littered with giant plastic cows). Plus, I found their prices to be rather good considering the atmosphere. (The atmosphere made me think it would be more expensive.) Last year, we went down there and nobody at our table was very pleased with their meals. My steak was grizzly and barely edible. I've crossed them off my list. I absolutely thought the steaks should have 'tasted' better... It tasted like salt was thrown on at the last second and it got a lil' smoke from a few minutes on the grill... Not enough beef flavor... I sensed no aging, and the salt was only topical... When I treated my aunt who loves lamb to lunch we ordered the racks and they tasted familiar... Hmmmmm, what was it?
