Just got back from another weekend in Key West. We discovered a great deal for raw oyster on the half shell - Crabby Bill's on Green. $2.50 anytime of the day for a dozen really nice sized oysters. Other good spots - Five Brothers for morning con leche, Mangia Mangia for nice atmosphere, low prices and good food if you stick with the homemade pasta with one of their simple sauces and El Siboney for lunch or dinner. Third time for lunch at BO's Fish Wagon. I have gotten tired of the place - seems like high prices and the food is just O.K. I think Pepe's across the street is better. Key lime pie is great at Alice's ( it should be for $7.95 a slice ). Anyone have any comments on the Key West Beer Garden on Duval. I think that's the name of it. We walked in there and it looks like a really nice atmosphere, but have not seen any comments on the food.

Food at Key West Beer Garden is pretty good and the service is good and very friendly. But, you're right, the atmosphere is the big draw. A very nice place to sit under a palm tree, surrounded by nice plantings and enjoy some quiet off the hubbub of Duval. We like it there and have gone two or three times.
