My husband is a huge breakfast fan and loves traditional southern grits and eggs. Where's the best place for this type of food? (nothing spicy or unusual)
We'll be staying in Old Town, so the closer the better.

Although I agree with Blue Heaven, IMHO, we like Pepe's Cafe & Steakhouse and Harpoon Harry's. Sunday's we like Martin's Cafe for brunch (the best eggs benedict) or believe it or not Louie's Backyard on occassions.

Blue Heaven does grits and its a great place. I don't think the others that Stormi mentioned have grits.

The Deli on the corner of truman ave and simonton st does great grits and even better biscuits and gravy. very casual and inexpensive. also much easier to get a table without a wait than the other places.
