New green market in Palm Beach Gardens

Hounds finding themselves in the Palm Beach Gardens area on Sundays might want to take in the new Green Market which opened recently just outside City Hall. The market is open from 9am to 1pm and has about 55 vendors selling produce as well as a variety of prepared items and baked goods. Some highlights last week included the guys grilling jerked pork and chicken, the smoked kippered dolphin vendor and the sour pickles sold right from the barrel (the last 2 sold out early.) Plenty of free outdoor parking, a jazz band, lots of goodies to sample and buy and if it wasn't for the absurd price of gas in this part of the country, a nice way to spend an hour. The exact address is:
10500 N. military Trail
Palm Beach Gardens
(just south of PGA Blvd)

Great! Thanks for posting this info -- PB County has an abundance of farms -- why not green markets? I am going to try to make a trip for this one!

Also check out the greenmarket in downtown West Palm Beach between Clematis and Banyan a block off Flagler Drive on Saturday mornings. Many tasty surprises.
