Does anyone know of a place I heard about on NPR's food show, that has great flaminco guitar during the week?

I thought I heard Cafe Del Mar on Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, put that doesn't seem to pan out...

We ate at Cafe Del Mar in Fort Lauderdale last Sunday night and had a quite pleasureable experience. The food was great and the service was good too! The one thing that bothered me was the charge on the bill for $5 as an entertainment fee. The music by Alex Fox and his son was impressive so I didn't mind paying a little extra but I think this should be stated on the menu somewhere or the waitress should inform you prior to being seated.

I totally agree with you. Im a professional guitar player myself. I think you should have a cover charge in clubs, or some bars, but in restaurants, music is an special treat you offer to your patrons. The owners should pay!

La Barraca in Hollywood has Flamenco guitar, and the dancing as well.

I really like the guitar, but that modulated shouting that goes along with it drives me crazy! Good tapas, though. Their sangria could be better (and cheaper)
