Superb treatment and great food.

I discovered the fledgling High Life Cafe (Ft. Lauderdale, near Oakland Park and Federal) quite by accident over three years ago. Run by two talented and erudite gentleman (Carlos in the kitchen, Chuck out front), this delightful Comtemporary American has succeeded beyond anyone's wildest dreams, and rightfully so.
They recently added a wine and tapas bar, and the well-deserved beat goes on.
A must destination for anyone who loves to be treated well while enjoying excellent food at moderate prices.
And desserts are a must.
