Meskel -- Ethiopian restaurant at the corner of E. Cherry and 26th Ave. Spacious and comfortable seating, indoor & out! delicious food, generous portions & friendly, attentive staff. One "entree" choice was almost enough for 2, 2 entrees is definitely plenty so you can eat for cheap cheap cheap! We spent part of a lovely, sunny Sat. afternoon kicking back at an outside table, savoring a couple of draft beers & very good food. Even our toddler loved the Tibs. 21 Union Cafe (21st & Union) -- Started as a coffee shop & has expanded to serve very good, pretty basic brunch options, with some nice muffins & quick breads made in-house. Also had some salads on the menu. They will open for dinner sometime in July. Next door to the hopefully to be reopened soon Central Cinema.
