A Pimm's cup is a most refreshing libation. According to the bartender at Napoleon House, lemonade, Pimm's (a liquer), and a little lemon-lime soda are the ingredients. A slice of cucumber garnishes the glass. This is The Drink at The Napoleon House . I make them quite often using this recipe and they are wonderful.

It has gin in it, too, right? I read that several places . . .which was why I was reluctant to try one. Hate gin AND cucumbers. but the one I had at Commander's Palace was great. Would gladly order several more! (And CP was recommended below as a place to get a good one, to answer the original poster's question.)

This is a British drink. I'm not sure how it came to be associated with New Orleans.

Here's a good link.

A Pimm's cup is a refreshing cocktail served in a tall glass. It is made with Pimm's No. 1 (and English Liqueur), a little sour mix and a splash of 7 up. The most known place for a Pimm's Cup is at the Napoleon House in the French Quarter. However, stop and have one at The Columns (on St. Charles Ave.) first, then go to the source. That way you'll enjoy your first one regardless :)
