Not much of a gourmet issue, but any recommendations on a place that has Hamburger steaks. Smothered in onions and a brown gravy? All the places I have tried either do not cook them or the ones that I have had weres not that good. Thank you.

believe it or not Middendorf's has it on their menu. You must ask for the gravy and onions, though. I suppose it's there for people that don't like seafood...

Try Betsy's on the corner of Canal and Dorgenois st. They usually have it one of their daily specials. It was a bit smaller then Ye ole College Inn's version, but compares favorable if not surpassing theirs in taste. Makes me hungry for one with plenty onions and ketchup.
