Italian in NOLA

  • t

Hey -

Thanks everyone for all the good advice. We're planning a trip to NOLA next week and since we can't eat at all the WONDERFUL suggestions.....What's better Mosca's or Irene's? Thanks for your responses.

  1. I vote for Irene's and you don't have to take that long drive. From what I've heard, Mosca's was better years ago; however, six of us ate there this past Saturday night and didn't think it was worth the money. The oysters were the best dish, but for $100 per couple (including two $26 bottles of wine) we could have eaten better elsewhere. Including Irene's.

I like Irene's too, but if memory serves, they don't take reservations. You might need to eat early or have a backup plan if the wait gets ridiculous....
