Best Fried or BBQ Shrimp???

My husband prefers simple seasonings and good shrimp, we will be touring French Qtr and Garden District and staying in Algiers. What are our best bets? Thanks.
I'll probably get shot down on this one as being too well known and touristy, but hey, I like Pasquales Manale. Supposedly they originated the dish, but who knows. You need to go there around 5:30 PM or 6 if you don't want to wait in line. Waiting isn't too bad here however since you can wait in the bar and also get some mighty good raw oysters.
The shrimp is served with the heads on, french bread and lots of napkins. Its just swimming in the buttery BBQ sauce. The place is located a few blocks from the intersection of St. Charles and Napolean if I remember correctly.
Shot down? No way. I've got your back for the Pasquale's Manale recomm. It's a fine, old, traditional spot, and you do the b-b-q shrimp justice w/out over-hyping 'em. Notable is that you buy a chip @ the bar (1/2 or full doz.) if you're gonna have raw 'sters-and redeem it at the oyster bar. Enjoy your shucker's patter and tip him well.
If you don't want to venture outside the Quarter - I would recommend the BBQ shrimp at Mr. B's on Royal.
Actually I would recommend Mr. B's for anything - one of my favorites.
Hard to beat Pascal's for their bbq shrimp. But in my opinion, Mr. B's is better. Both are great.
Best fried...if any of you haven't done the Asian Almond shrimp at Zea's in Clearview, you're missing one of the best fried shrimp dishes in the city!
