Revellion dinner at the Royal Cafe

I looked at a website and found a list of all the restaurants offering Revellion dinners for Xmas day.
I was a little disappointed that almost all of the restaurants were the more upscale hotels, but I saw "The Royal Cafe" had a revellion dinner and the menu sounded very good.
I haven't heard of this particular restaurant and was wondering if anyone had any particular info about this restaurant.
I don't know what web site you were looking at, but most Reveillon dinners are served throughout December, and many of the restaurants that offer Reveillon menus will not be open on Christmas day. So if you are planning for that day, make sure the place will be open. Pretty much the only restaurants that will be open on Christmas are in hotels. (Even Cafe du Monde is closed on Christmas!)
I haven't eaten at Royal so I can't give an opinion on that one. However, it is a casual cafe, not an upscale restaurant. Depends on what you are looking for.
The Royal has a great balcony with a great view of the street and the "performers" below. It's a nice place for a leisurely lunch on a Sunday . The food was more than acceptable . I'm not sure what the street scene would be on Christmas.
