So, two first-time visitors to NO are rolling into town Thanksgiving afternoon... any suggestions for someplace we might find an interesting dinner (not necessarily turkey-based, or even American)? Advice from those in the know would be most appreciated.

thx,
talullah

  1. well as a first timer i think it required to find a deep fried turkey, yes a whole turkey..i think sid-mars in bucktown may do it, and i'm sure there are many others...a true louisiana specialty!!

I have been looking for a place that does that! I'll try them. Any other ideas where to try for reservations?

Tom Fitzmorris just did an article about this the other day. Check out the link.
