Reviewing postings and planning a trip, do I understand correctly that this much heralded chowhound destination is lunch only?
That's right - Lunch only M-F, though they'll be open very rarely on Saturdays - usually during some big special event like JazzFest.
Anthony & Gail Uglesich (the owners) get there at 4:30 every morning to start cooking. You'll want to go early (11:00) or late (1:30) to avoid the lines.
Also keep in mind that Uglesich's doesn't take credit cards. Something to remember when you start ordering those big bottles of Chimay.
