Upper suburbs (Twin Cities) - 15 minute coffee break?

Hey all! I've got an urgent question, because I can't take it any more! Ok, over reaction, but I'm usually working with a group of people doing volunteer work a few days a week and we take a couple 15 minute breaks from time to time.

I'm looking for a quality, non-chain stopping point, that serves baked goods, coffee or other stop-worthy goodies to keep us going for the day. These are the cities we are usually in:

Roseville
Circle Pines
Shoreview
Lino Lakes
Arden Hills
New Brighton (sort of)
Fridley (if necessary)

No more Brueggers, Carribou, Starbucks and all those chains... Please offer some suggestions.

I'd appreciate it!

Being a Lino Lakes resident, I would love this information too. I love living out in this area but think it can really be improved upon for dining, coffee shops and other specialty places. Until then, I will keep the gas tank full.

Roseville Bakery on 1147 Larpenteur Ave W has some pretty tasty goodies.

Why not try Taste of Scandinavia on Rice St (Roseville)and/or at Hodgson and Hwy 96(North Oaks/Shoreview). While ToS may not be as good as it was when Soile Anderson owned the place it is still far better than the chains.
