    You're likely referring to:

    Muddy Paws Cheesecake
    740 N Snelling Ave
    www.muddypawscheesecake.com

They have a location in Uptown as well. Good stuff.

In that area, I also like the cheesecake at Coffee News Cafe on Grand just west of Snelling.

Buon Giorno in Lilydale does some outstanding cheesecakes (flavors vary daily and are often interesting) and other wonderful desserts. When I do takeout there, the desserts never make it out of the store -- they're eaten before the other food comes.

By the way, I know Muddy Paws does whole cheesecakes, but I'm not sure about the other two...you may have to call ahead.

Looking forward to other posts. I love cheesecake.

Muddy Paws also has a location in Uptown Minneapolis - 2528 Hennepin Avenue South.

Kowalski's Markets carry a good variet of Muddy Paws cheesecakes, too. Those are some seriously good cheesecakes!

I'd second the Coffee News Cafe recommendation.

Cafe Latte on Grand and Victoria in St. Paul also has some really good cheesecakes. They always offer their classic vanilla, and sometimes have other flavors as well.
