<content>while this is almost chowish --

is the Mt. Horeb Mustard museum still open, just outside of Madison. Is it worth the stop? What other chowish delights can be found between Madision and Northern WI?

Also, there used to be an AMAZING cafe restaurant in Madison WI that was also a book store. It had great folk music regualrly. It also had hotel rooms upstairs. Its not Ovens of Brittany or Sunporch... but something else It was owned by a local Madison family. I spent over 3 years of my life having coffee with my college buddies there, and i can't remember the name of the place!

<content>You may be thinking of (what once was) Canterbury Books. It looks like a modified version is still around. See links below.

I haven't been in Madison in 10 years, so I'm not up on what's happening there now, but this is the place that I remember.

<content>The bookstore is now Avol's Books (a used bookstore) and the cafe is Dancing Grounds Coffee Lounge. Both located at 315 West Gorham Street (along with the inn). See link below.
