In fact, I'd say it's the cheapest place in the city to eat. Ambiance-wise, Courtesy has a kind of seedy Waffle House feel, whereas SCD is a bit more upscale. Biggest difference is that South City has a full bar, so if you're ever wondering what it'd be like to wash your short stack down with a martini, South City Diner is the place for you.
