Call Kerry or John at Browne's Market at 31st and Pennsylvania (between Southwest Trafficway and Broadway, just south of Penn Valley Community College).

I'm almost sure I've seen HP products there and a phone call will give you the answer you need. Or stop by and see for yourself. They've got a wonderful collection of foods and gift items from the British Isles, particularly from Ireland. This time of year, they're generally open weekdays from around 10am to maybe 3pm or 4pm, but as the holidays approach, they'll extend hours some and include Saturdays.

You might also try McGonigle's Market on Ward Parkway. Or call Hen House Grocery and ask. Perhaps Pryde's Old Westport?

Good luck. Let us know if you find it.

Thanks for the tips. Today I was at the India Emporium (105th & Metcalf) and happened across a bottle of HP brown there. They had a few other British products such as heinz canned goods, maltsers hot cocoa, tea, and other things. I still plan on checking out your suggestions though, as I did not find HP curry, and the places suggested sound interesting anyway!

Stacy - Glad you found a source at least for the HP brown sauce. I never thought of India Emporium but I guess it makes sense. Kind of surprised they didn't have the curry, though. I wonder if they were just out of it or if they don't carry it at all.

Please do be sure to visit Browne's if you can. It's a real hoot for folks who love things from the British Isles. Steel-cut oats, brambleberry jam, wonderful teas, lemon curd, all sorts of things. Oh, and some Cadbury chocolates that we can't typically find here in the USA.

Food Bin west of Quivira on Shawnee Mission Parkway...they have some other Brit stuff as well and not too expensive. If you can't find all the HP sauces you want you could take a trip to Lawrence and shop at Brits; last time I was there they had Daddie's Brown Sauce as well as HP Fruity and Curry.
