What has happened to Rahm Mit Thai in St. Paul? After an hour, we had to ask for our lunch order "to go."

Has their service "slipped" or are they trying to force people to use the "buffet" which is not feasible if the people in your party want different levels of spicing?

It has been a favorite for four years! However, on Apr 26, there were very few customers.

We recently ate there on a busy Saturday night and our food was great. Ruammit used to be our favorite place when it was in the old location by the Capital. We routinely received terrible service at this restaurant but felt it was part of the ambience. I agree that the service we received on our recent visit brought back memories of the routinely poor service. We always felt the food was worth the poor service. I did hear more than a year ago that the restaurant had been sold to another family member and had gone downhill.

The papaya salad that I had was wonderful. It came with dried beef, sticky rice and lettuce to make wraps. My husband was very happy with his jalapeno pepper dish. We used a B1G1 coupon and plan to go back again. I think it helps to go during the offpeak times. We also noticed that prices were much higher than what we used to pay but the food was delicious.
