i have lived in the twin cities for many years but grew up in New York City. i grew up drinking seltzer water from old fashioned siphon bottles. plastic bottles with twist off caps long ago replaced siphon bottles. but here in Minnesota, i cant find seltzer water. club soda is a cousin but just isnt the same. sparkling water is a relative but not the same. perrier isnt the same. i want the real deal. does anyone know of any store, presumably in the twin cities, that stocks it--not counting the Saint Louis Park Byerlys that does stock it at Passover time only. Canada Dry definitely markets seltzer but evidentally not in Minnesota (does anyone know the name of the Canada Dry distributor in the twin cities??)I am getting close to seeing if i can find seltzer that can be ordered on the web and shipped by UPS. or shipping bottles back from my next New York visit. But i wanted to give this a shot first.

By all means, buy a seltzer bottle!!!! Even the kitchen supply stores in Minnesota (ie Mall of America?) have got to sell them or check out the internet. I am one who is also "enamored" of our seltzer spritzer. Ours is from iSi Siphon of America, Inc., P.O. Box 616, Pine Brook, NJ 07058. Fun kitchen "toy" to have on hand.

This is just an idea, do the couple of Kosher delis in the area carry it? Ask at Fishman's out on Hwy 7, the guy to ask for is Ron.

Barring that, get yourself a seltzer bottle... My brother is quite enamoured with his, except for the time he put the wrong (soda) cartridges in and tried to whip cream. it tasted very strange!

Dear dying for seltzer,
Just wondering if you found any Seltzer water. My mom has been looking in the twin cities area also. Her doctor recommended it for blending with wine so her stomach and kidneys are not bothered. Who knows:!?!?!
Anyway, any infor would be great - web page, store, catalog, etc.
Thanks
