Hi, going to Miller Park in Milwaukee (from Chicago), and was wondering if any of the in-stadium consessions have a quality that lift them above standard ball park fare. Would be especially interested in "Wisconsin's best" kind of thing (like Johnsonville brats cooked the "Sheboygan way" or some such true Wisconsin treat). Any thoughts on anyone who has braved the Brewers' mediocrity and made it out to the park?

I have taken the trip up to Miller Park many times. I find the Brats are very good at Miller Park. Otherwise I find the rest of the food sold at the park like Wrigley or Comiskey. But my suggestion is get to Miller Park 2-3 hours before the game starts and tailgate first, it is a lot of fun with a good baseball atmosphere mingling with the fans parked around you. They also have a Fridays restaurant built in the park that is open year round that has a nice view of the park. Whatever you decide you will enjoy the game and food at Miller Park.

I was at Miller Park for the all star game. The brats were OK but far from exceptional. I have a feeling they were better at old County Stadium.

At Miller Park, the food available to you depends upon how much you paid for your ticket.

The folks in the lower-priced seats have access to food stands that serve standard Milwaukeee ballpark food (including the famous brat with Secret Stadium sauce.)

The fans with the higher-priced tickets can get a much wider variety of food from the stands in their part of the ballpark.

I'm not saying that the food in the expensive sections is better. But you will have more choices if you buy an expensive seat.

You forgot to mention that a person with a "cheap" ticket is not even allowed to see the club level with their larger selection of foods, which was heavily touted last year when the stadium opened. (The club level is between the loge and the mezz-3rd of 4 levels- and has regular seats in addition to press and luxury boxes- the tickets cost no more than field level.) They check your ticket at the escalator or stairs. How stupid is that because they must sell a lot less food plus in a working class town like this or even anywhere it's just so rude. I hate that. I will never buy a club level ticket just on principle.
