Has anyone tried the Cambodian place in St. Paul, 'Cheng Heng Restaurant'? What is it like; what should I order?

  1. I really enjoy Cheng Heng! They have a very helpful picture menu to guide your ordering. They have a dish much like the vietnamese 'bun' or noodle salad with a fried spring roll on top. The larb noodles are interesting - they are short thick noodles that appear hand-rolled and look a bit grub-like. Very tasty, though. I'm afraid I don't recall any other specific dishes but I don't know anyone who has had a bad meal there.

Cheng Heng is definitely a winner. Cheap and good across the board. I've not had a bad dish. You can have a veritable banquet for $25.
