For a Mon-Wed stay in Columbus, can anyone add/subtract/validate these picks, culled from right here and citysearch?

And some more breakfast places, especially near the University Plaza Hotel & Conference Center, 3110 Olentangy River Road, would really be great.

--Tommy's Diner 914 Broad st. Greek-American Diner.

--Latin Rooster Rotisserie 389 Stonehenge La Gahanna. Peruvian rotisserie chicken
--Bob the Fish Guy's Market and Bistro. Fish

--The Clarmont 684 s. High St (steak and chops, straight up)
--Alana's 2333 N. High st. Eclectic, great wine list
--Trattoria Roma, Grandview area.
--Giuseppe's Ritrovo 2268 E. Main St

I can only go by word of mouth since I went to school there in 70s but keep abreast of what is happening there.

*I've read and heard a lot of good things about Mitchells Steakhouse for dinner.
*A funky plcae to go that I remember from when I was there (you'll need a car)is the Blue Danube (a.k.a. the Blue Dube or just the Dube) on North High St, north of campus.

    Post after you return.

You may be able to check out some of these on the Columbus Dispatch website, tho I do not know how reliable their critic is.

I will be really interested to see what you find!

Hope you get some other helpful input and eat well.

I read extensively thru Grumpy's reviews at the Columbus Dispatch.

To be diplomatic, his tastes and mine are 3 dimensional polar opposites!

          That's why G_d created Chowhound...
