I was there a few years back and left unimpressed. Maybe it's me but if you are pushing flavored butters on your patrons for a prime steak, something isn't right.
I've heard others say it's been good, but then again, I am very particular about my steakhouses.

For steaks, Wildfire and Morton's both have locations in Schaumburg.

Pete Miller's will be opening a location there in the near future, where Prairie Rock Brewing is closing.

This place is a personal favorite of mine. I have to say I am a huge steak guy and this place really serves a consistent great steak. My choice is the bone-in ribeye and their au jus is sooooooo flavorful. I really like the cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail. A couple other great dishes are the berkshire porkchops and the Mediterranean Chicken (which are 2 of the lowest priced items). Sometimes I can't decide whether to get a great steak or one of the 2 other items I just mentioned. As for desserts, I don't have a sugar tooth but I cannot resist the key lime pie (mmmmmm). This place has such a great environment and the help has always been very professional. I highly recommend this place, they really seem to know what they are doing. I pick this place over Mortons and the other big shots all the time just because it is not a corporate joint. I really appreciate that a family owned business can compete with the big dogs and I think they do a better job. You have to give it a try.
A couple other things to try:
- Thai Shrimp appetizers
- chopped salad
- prime rib
- crusted halibut (my buddy said it was the best he has ever had)
- escargot
- AWESOME wine list!!!

This place is back and better than ever! I'm so over the chain steak restaurants. This location is family-owned with personalized service and no pretension. The steaks are flavorful and the fish is delicious. There's a lively crowd and a classy atmosphere that attracts people who know good food. A+

this is soo true, I just found that out the last time I was there! The owner bought us a dessert because he recognized me from coming in a few times. You have to give it to them. A family owned business that can compete with the big dogs. I LOVE IT!
