I have only been to one Ethiopian restaurant in the city somewhere on Clark near Belmont. Has anyone else found a semi-cozy Ethiopian place - BYOB? thanks

I've heard there's a great ethiopian restaurant in edgewater on broadway just south of Hollywood. I can't remember the name but its supposed to have great food, especially the tilapia and a good vegetarian menu as well. Maybe someone else reading this thread will know the name.

Ras Dashen and Ethiopian Diamond are the two restaurants you'll want to consider. My personal preference is for Ras Dashen, because I find it slightly cozier and friendlier. But others will say ED. They food is good at both, it just comes down to personal preference after that. You probably won't get a real consensus about which is better. If I recall correctly, neither is explicitly BYOB.
