Pats going downhill
I ordered a pizza from Pats new location last night. Very dissapointing. WAY too much cheese, sauce just didn't seem right and the crust was unrecognizable. Maybe I just got a bad chef, but not a good sign.

Pat's Pizza does not carry well out the door and to your house....I ate the new location just last week.
It was as good as it ever was.

I wholeheartedly agree with TY re: inconsistent carryout or delivery from Pat's. Unless you live a stone's throw away, it loses a lot along the way, and I'm not sure why that is given that it is authentically paper-bagged instead of boxed. We ordered from Pat's on New Year's Day a few years ago and were sorely disappointed and steered away for many months. One day decided to give it another shot, dining in this time, and now it can do the trick. While I usually venture to try other things on their menu, hubby just loves it.

Pat's consistently delivers cold pizzas, and tonight I waited 90 minutes. Moreover, they typically have a bad attitude on the phone. Their pizza is decent, but it isn't worth the crappy, indifferent service.

Which Pat's location are you folks speaking of? I live near a Grayslake location and never really thought much of it anyway, but now I'm curious that it seems so well known...

I think you need to specify which location, since not all are connected with each other. I get pizza regularly from the South Loop Pat's, it's always good, always hot and always comes in a box.

My complaint above is about the South Loop Pat's on Clark St.
