I'm getting married this weekend (moment of silence please!) and was planning on taking my out of town father, brothers, soon-to-be father-in-law, etc. to Twin Anchors for real guy lunch. Unfortunately, they are closed for lunch on weekdays. Therefore, I'm looking for additional ideas that meet the following objectives: 1. Chicago institution 2. Guys guy atmosphere. Thanks in advance for your help!

A real guys place for a good lunch, Harry Caray's would be the place.

You are lucky that Twin Anchor's is closed. It's not what it used to be, as seen on this board before.

I agree, Harry Carry's is a good choice. I also think the Weber Grill does a nice job for lunch with decent prices.

A good guy place is Manny's for the corned beef if you have wheels.

Harry Caray's is okay. However, considering the significance of the outing, I personally would probably go with either Gibson's or Gene & Georgetti's.
